The hottest ExxonMobil chemicals show at the 2009

  • Detail

ExxonMobil Chemical demonstrated its technical leadership at the 2009 International Rubber Exhibition

ExxonMobil Chemical demonstrated its consistent commitment and technical leadership to the global rubber industry at the rubber Expo held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from October 13 to 15, 2009. The company provides a variety of polymer solutions for the rubber industry, including special elastomers, polymer modifiers (PM) and butyl polymers. During the exhibition, ExxonMobil Chemical will make a series of reports to show its technical expertise in all product areas

the three reports will focus on ExxonMobil Chemical's expertise in EP (d) m2 over the past 40 years. Topics covered in the report include:

metallocene EPDM polymer with improved low-temperature performance

comparison of traditional EP (d) M elastomer, metallocene EP (d) M elastomer and their binary blends designed for low-voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) cable insulation

review on polymerization process of traditional EPDM and metallocene EPDM polymer

as one of the largest manufacturers of metallocene and traditional EP (d) m elastomers in the world, ExxonMobil Chemical continues to expand the performance range of its products by introducing new EPDM brands. These elastomers can be used in a variety of low temperature, molded and extruded products, including weather seals and rubber hoses

in order to meet the growing demand for vistalon EPDM and provide support for the increase of product categories, Exxon has spots, wrinkles, bubbles and adherents, and Mobil Chemical is expanding its production capacity in Singapore, including a set of elastomer unit with an annual output of 300000 tons. It is expected that the unit will be put into operation in 2011

ExxonMobil Chemical will also exhibit a variety of elevast polymer modifiers (PM) at the International Rubber Exhibition (booth 1639). Elevast PM is a special hydrocarbon oil, which can improve the mechanical properties of polymers in a wide range of service temperatures. It is used for wire and cable, automobile, industrial tape, weather sealing strip, rubber hose and industrial products, such as seals, gaskets and wiper strips

epdm technical report will be carried out at David L. l Conference Center (David L. l strip steel can be shipped awrence). The specific arrangement is as follows: on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, 9:00 a.m.

"amorphous metallocene EPDM with excellent low temperature performance" summarizes the recent progress of metallocene solution polymerization technology, and compares the physical properties of amorphous EPDM of metallocene process with that of traditional Ziegler Natta process. The results show that the polymer prepared by metallocene process has uniform component distribution at temperature and low ethylene content, and has good comprehensive mechanical properties and low temperature elastic properties

wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 8:30 a.m.

"insulating compound prepared by vistalon EP (d) m polymer" compared the application of traditional EP (d) M elastomer, metallocene EP (d) M elastomer and their binary blends in the insulation layer of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) cables. Some key properties, such as vulcanization characteristics, physical properties, physical properties after thermal aging and electrical properties under wet conditions, were discussed
